Research forms an important part of the MLA's work and is used as a strategic tool helping to inform and underpin MLA policy objectives.The purpose of this site is to promote and support the use of research and evidence in the museums, libraries and archives sector. We believe that research and evidence have a pivotal role to play in informing decision making, supporting communications strategies, and guiding the development of the sector.
